The nasty weather is here in New York courtesy of Tropical Depression Beryl. We are expecting heavy rain, severe thunderstorms, and possible tornados across parts of the state.

Tropical Storm Beryl's track is expected to sweep right across New York state bringing wet and windy conditions to much of the Western and Central part of the state.

Thunderstorms and possible flooding are the biggest dangers coming our way but down in the Southern part of the state, there is an elevated risk of Tornados forming.

The good news is the risk is slight but there is still a chance of them forming and causing damage across the area.

Behind the Tropical Storm will be mostly sunny skies and more normal temperatures for the state. Much of New York will have highs in the 80s for Thursday and heading into the weekend.
