The weather is expected to get nasty across Western New York with heavy rain, thunderstorms, and possible tornados expected in Western New York.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a wind advisory for all of Western New York with parts of WNY under a high wind warning.

A High Wind warning is in place until 2 pm today for Chautauqua and Southern Erie counties.


This storm system also brings the risk of possible tornados for the southern part of Western New York. The worst of the weather is expected to take place between noon and 5 pm today.

This weather system is also bringing a massive drop in our temperature. The low overnight could fall into the 20s and rain showers could end up turning into snow showers.
