A fast-moving storm front is set to bring "enhanced" severe weather to New York State.

Western New York Weather Forecast

There is an "enhanced" risk of severe weather starting this afternoon for the City of Buffalo and parts of Western New York. Numerous thunderstorms, along with a small chance of tornadoes, are expected across the region.

It looks like the storm system will miss most of New York City and the surrounding areas. There is a slight chance of rain tonight and into Wednesday morning, but overall, the weather should be slightly above average for this time of year.
