Nasty Weather Has Prompted Winter Weather Advisories In New York
We are not done with the winter weather here in New York State. Another round of nasty winter weather has prompted the National Weather Service to issue several winter weather advisories across the state.
The biggest issue with this latest weather front is going to be the freezing rain and ice. This kind of precipitation could cause icy roads and possible issues with downed power lines and tree branches.
The ice on the roads could have a big impact on the morning commute on Thursday morning. You are encouraged to take your time and give yourself extra time to get into work or school.
Most of the winter weather advisories will expire tomorrow afternoon and we are expected to temperatures warm up on Thursday into the upper 30s and lower 40s.

That won't last long as the temperatures will dip back into the 20s on Friday and remain right around freezing for the weekend.
The long range forecast is also calling for possible winter storms as we get into the middle part of February.
