
Winter Weather Advisory In Place For Western New York
Some sloppy winter weather is headed our way today in Western New York, and that has led the National Weather Service to issue a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of Western New York today. We could see a mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain today as the day progresses.
Winter Weather Advisory In Place For Western New York
The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Allegany from 7 am until 4 pm today. There is a chance of freezing rain, with the biggest issue being ice forming on trees and power lines.
That ice could also cause slick road conditions, leading to a slow and slippery ride around the region today.
Warmer Weather Is On The Way To Western New York
While we are still dealing with cold and ice today, things will start to warm up this week in Western New York.

Tomorrow will start off foggy, but then we will have mostly sunny skies with a high near 50. Rain returns on Thursday, with more rain expected this weekend. We are looking at highs in the 40s and 50s this week, so we should get a break from winter here in the 716.
