
All Of New York State Under Winter Weather Advisory
Some nasty weather is headed to New York today.
A storm winter storm system is set to push across the region today and it will bring wind, snow, sleet, and rain across parts of the state.
The hazardous conditions has led to the National Weather Services in New York State to issue a winter weather advisory for all of New York State.
The advisory is in place for all of Western New York starting at 1 pm this afternoon until 4 am on Thursday.

That advisory will start for Rochester and Central New York at 4 pm this afternoon and go until Thursday at 4 am as well.
For northern New York including the city of Watertown, the winter weather advisory will start at 7 pm tonight and goes until 7 pm on Thursday.
In Eastern New York and Downstate, that weather advisory is in place starting at 7 pm tonight and goes for 24 hours until 7 pm on Thursday
The weather will have an impact on travel across the state with icy and slippery roads expected. The evening commute tonight from work and school will be slower than normal so you can expect delays. The morning commute on Thursday will also be impacted so plan ahead for travel to work and school.
