All Of Western New York Under Winter Weather Advisory
It will be around of winter weather for Western New York today.
More snow and well below-average temperatures are on tap for the 716 and that could cause a delay in your commute around town.
Driving in this morning from Hamburg into Downtown Buffalo, most of the major roads were cleared and plowed but a lot of the side roads and neighborhood roads were snow-covered and icy.
The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for all of Western New York due to the current weather system. The Winter Weather advisory will remain in place until Friday morning at 4 am.
The weather system could drop an additional 2-4 inches of lake-effect snow throughout the day today. With temperatures hovering in the mid-teens, roads could remain icy since road salt is less effective in temperatures below 15 degrees.
