
Old Farmer’s Almanac Calling For Warm March In New York
If you are sick and tired of the cold weather and snow across the state, there is some good news on the way.
The Old Farmer's Almanac put out its 60-day forecast and it looks like March is going to usher in some warmer weather for New York State.
The month of March will start off cold but a blast of warmer weather will help bring the temperatures up above average for most of the month.
It also looks like April Showers will start early as most of the state is looking at a wetter than normal month of March.
The average temperature across New York will be near 40 degrees which is a couple of degrees warmer than normal for the month. The mild weather is expected to start to move in around March 8th and then stay through the end of the month.
The precipitation will start off as snow in the beginning of the month and transition into rain in the second week of the month. The Old Farmer's Almanac is calling for an inch or two above average amounts of precipitation in March.

So if you are sooooo over the cold and snow, you have just a couple more weeks before you get some milder weather in New York State.
Historically January and February are the two coldest months of the year in New York, with March and April usually being the wettest.
