On Monday, a poor air quality alert was issued for Western New York due to the smoke from the wildfires in Canada.

It looks like we could see more of the same today as well.

The smoke will also impact other parts of New York State today as well. The National Weather Service in Binghamton is also calling for a smokey hazy day for Central New York.

The same goes for the Eastern parts of New York. The National Weather Service in Albany is calling for smokey and hazy conditions for today as well.

If you have respiratory issues or problems you should watch how much time you spend outdoors today. Also, it is recommended that you don't do any outdoor burning as well today because of the conditions.
