
Snow In The Forecast For Western New York
There is one thing we know about the weather here in Western New York, if you wait five minutes or 24 hours things will change.
Coming off a week where we saw record-setting highs, the current weather models are now calling for snow as we kick off Spring in the 716.
A cold front is bringing gusty winds, a massive cooldown in our temperature, and possible snow flurries across the Western New York area.
There is a wind advisory for all of Western New York until later this afternoon with sustained winds of 20-30 miles per hour and gusts reaching as fast as 50-60 miles per hour.
The wind and weather front is set to drop our high temperature by nearly 20 degrees from yesterday to today and the cooldown will continue into the weekend.
Today's high will be around 54 with scattered rain showers with possible snow flurries developing this evening and overnight into Friday. The snow is not expected to stick but you could see some white on your grass for the first official day of Spring.

While it will be sunny on Friday it will be cold. The high is only expected to get around 40 as we kick off the weekend.
That cold snap will continue into the weekend with highs on Saturday set to be around 45 with more rain and possible snow later in the evening. Sunday will start off sunny before possible snow showers move through the area overnight into Monday.
