Two More Tornados Confirmed In New York This Week
2024 could be The Year Of The Tornado here in New York.
The National Weather Service confirmed two more tornados touched down this week in Western New York bringing the amount of confirmed tornados to 31 so far this year. That is a new record for New York State and we still have several months left in 2024.

The good news is that the damage from these tornados was minimal and there were no reports of injuries. The good news is that it looks like the severe weather will be idle for a while.
