Wildfire Smoke From Canada Will Sweep Across New York
Today will be a hazy day across parts of New York as easterly winds will bring smoke from wildfires in Canada across the region.

The air quality across New York will remain in the moderate range which means people who are sensitve to allergens or have respiratory issues should limit their time outdoors.

The Northeast winds will bring smoke from the wildfires in Central and Western Canada, into New York State. The latest weather system is expected to last into early next week which means we could be impacted by the smoke through the weekend.
The biggest impact will be on how most of us see the moon. The hazy will turn the moon into more of an orangest color over the next several days. You might also notice a smoky smell over the next several days as well.
