See The Northern Lights Tonight In New York State

If you missed your chance on Friday morning to see the Northern Lights, you will get another chance to see them tonight and into Sunday morning.

The solar storms that emitted from the Sun early this week will once again push the southern boundary of the Northern Lights into New York State.

The lens of your smartphone is better at seeing the Northern Lights than just your eye so you might want to snap some photos if you are out and about tonight or tomorrow morning.

It has already been a pretty active year for the Northern Lights and it looks like another solar storm could allow us to see them here in New York next week as well.
