
Massive Solar Storm Will Cause Northern Lights In New York
A "Severe" geomatic storm watch has been issued after a major flareup from the sun is heading our way.
The storm is expected to light up the sky and allow the Northern Lights to be visible across almost all of New York State.

According to several reports, the geomagnetic storm is expected to impact Earth's atmosphere on Sunday evening, which will give much of New York the chance to see the Northern Lights.

There are some things you can do to give yourself the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights:
Get Away From Lights - The best thing to do is get away from artificial light. The further away from street lamps and other lights, the better your chance of seeing the Northern Lights.
Best Time To See The Northern Lights - The best chance for you to see the Northern Lights is between 10 pm and 2 am.
Use A Camera - To get the best view of the lights, you should try using a camera or your phone. The lenses have a better chance of capturing the lights than your naked eye.
