
New York State Now Under Several Winter Weather Advisories
Winter weather is expected to be nasty across New York State over the next couple of days, and the National Weather Service has issued several winter weather advisories.
A Lake Effect Snow Warning is in place until Thursday at 4 am for the following counties: Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie.
There be another 8-16 inches of localized heavy lake effect snow in the area which could make traffic in the area very difficult.

A winter weather advisory is in place for Livingston, Allegany until 7 pm this evening while there are winter weather advisories going into effect today for Wayne, Northern Cayuga, Onondaga, Madison, and Southern Oneida counties. Traffic could be impacted by the snow and parts of New York could get up to 7 inches of snow.
There is also a Hazardous Weather Outlook for east central New York, eastern New York, and parts of Western New York.
Gusty winds and snow squalls could end up dropping several more inches of snow in the area.
The snow is expected to end by the end of the week with a warm-up expected this weekend before another round of cold arctic air is expected to impact the state.
