After a long weekend full of snow for parts of Western New York, more is on the way.

The latest weather forecasts are calling for up to another two to three feet for parts of Western New York by Tuesday night.

The snow is expected to stay South of the city of Buffalo. A lake-effect snow warning remains in place for Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties until Tuesday at 7 pm.

Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations
through Tuesday of 18 to 30 inches in most persistent snows. The greatest additional accumulations will be across Chautauqua and western portions of Cattaraugus county.

A lake-effect snow warning is in place for Southern Erie County until tonight at 7pm.

Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 5 to
10 inches in the most persistent lake snows.

The best thing to do is avoid traveling in those areas if possible as the weather could make driving very hazardous.

Several towns in the Southern Tier and in the Southtowns have been dealing with several feet of snow since this weekend, and now those totals are expected to jump way up over the next 24 hours.
