Winter will be in Western New York for a couple more days as a massive storm front is expected to bring snow to the 716.

Today will start off cold and sunny, but things will change as the day goes on and we will see a change to rain and snow tonight and heading overnight into Tuesday morning.

The good news is that it looks like the cold and snow won't last too long. Things will start to improve on Tuesday night, with mostly sunny skies expected on Wednesday, with a high near 40.

Rain with possible light snow is expected on Thursday. The rain will continue Thursday night into Friday and heading into the weekend.

The long-range forecast is calling for plenty of rain this weekend as well. Saturday is expected to start off with some showers before some sunshine moves back into the area on Saturday afternoon.
