YIKES!!! Snow Is Back In Western New York
Our flirtation with Spring in Western New York is now over.
It looks like Mother Nature got a bit jealous and brought back Old Man Winter for another round of weather for the 716 this weekend.
The mild temperatures and rain we had yesterday are now long gone and we are dealing with a massive temperature drop of almost 20 degrees from yesterday to today. The high today is looking like it will struggle to reach 35. Along with the sharp drop in our high temperature, we are also dealing with snow flurries across the region.
The good news is that we shouldn't have plowable amounts of snow. Most places in Western New York are expected to get less than an inch while in the high elevations you could see 1-2 inches of new snow.
The good news is that looking ahead to the extended forecast we are going to get back to more Spring-like weather after this weekend.

Early next week is calling for a cool start on Monday but the temperatures will get back into the 40s and 50s by Wednesday with some sunshine expected as well. Rain is back in the forecast for next Thursday with that rain continuing through next weekend.
