Now that both The Farmer's Almanac and Old Farmer's Almanac have released their prediction for the Winter 2024-25 season, the big question is when will it snow?

Buffalo:
First Flake: October 24th
First measure snowfall of over .1 inches: November 8th
The first inch of Snow: November 18th
Rochester:
First Flake: October 23rd
First measure snowfall of over .1 inches: November 8th
The first inch of Snow: November 20th

First measure snowfall of over .1 inches: November 6th
The first inch of Snow: November 18th
Albany:
First Flake: October 20th
First measure snowfall of over .1 inches: November 11th

First Flake: November 27th
First measure snowfall of over .1 inches: December 10th
The first inch of Snow: December 14th

Again these dates are based on historical averages which means we could get snow before or after these dates.
