It is never too early to start thinking about winter here in New York.

The Farmer's Almanac just released their winter weather prediction for 2024-25 and it looks like you might want to make sure you have plenty of extra winter clothes.

The Farmer's Almanac is predicting a cold and wet, snowy weather for most of New York State.

The Farmers’ Almanac winter weather forecast calls for a season of rapid-fire storms that will bring both rain and snow, with little downtime in between. Here is everything you need to know about the extended weather forecast, including an important winter weather advisory.

The call for a colder wetter winter is based on a La Nina forming out West and impacting the jet stream.

In 2023, it was an El Nino that influenced our weather. El Ninos usually bring dry and warmer weather.
