Two massive storm systems dropped over a foot of snow in some parts of New York State on Friday.

The two systems swept across the state producing winter-like weather conditions and leaving some towns digging out from under a foot of snow.

The two systems mainly impacted the southern and central parts of New York with towns like Binghamton dealing with heavy snow.

In the Western part of New York State, it was the higher elevations in the Southern Tier that dealt with the snow, while places known for lake effect snow like Hamburgh and Orchard Park mainly dealt with rain from these two storms.

The good news is that all the winter weather advisories issued for New York State have been canceled.
