Summer TV Shows Worth Watching

Summer is usually not synonymous with good television, enter cable TV, and counter programming.Cable TV now starts their prime season just as the Network TV shows are entering summer hiatus.

If you are dealing with the Summer heat and need to spend a few evenings "indoors", here are a few shows worth your time.

"Burn Notice" 10pm Tuesdays USA Network
A "burned" CIA agent that is handsome and resourceful. (makes McGyver look dull)
"True Blood" 9pm Sundays HBO
"Get ready for lots of blood, sex and sass!" (now tongue is "out" and teeth are "in")

"Mad Men" 10pm Sundays AMC (You'll only be mad if you miss it)
Set in 1960 New York, Mad Men is about the lives of the ruthlessly competitive men and women of Madison Avenue advertising, an ego-driven world where key players make an art of the sell while their private world gets sold.

"Psych" 10pm Wednesdays USA Network
Psych centers on Shawn Spencer, who possesses uncanny powers of observation honed by his police officer father, Henry, who drilled young Shawn to note even the smallest details of his surroundings.
