Get Iconic Rochester Dish In Buffalo, New York
If you've spent anytime East of Buffalo in Rochester, New York, you know there is one food dish that is a must-try: the amazing "Garbage Plate." Now you don't have to take a trip down the 90 to have this iconic dish.
Where To Get A "Garbage Plate" In Buffalo, New York
I grew up in West Seneca but went to College at SUNY Brockport (The Harvard of the SUNY System), and that is where I was first introduced to the iconic Garbage Plate. There were plenty of times that we went out in Rochester and ended up at Nick Tahou's for a garbage plate.
That is a meal that I never forgot, and I have been chasing that amazing combo of food ever since.
If you don't know what a "Garbage Plate" is, it is a combination of hot dogs or hamburgers served over fries, home fries, and/or mac salad, topped with a meat sauce, ketchup, mustard, and onions.

It was first created back in 1918 and has become an iconic dish in Rochester.
Now you can have that same dish in Lackawanna at Ice House Revival! My wife and I went there last week, and I had to try their "585 Trash Plate". Garbage Plate has been trademarked so a lot of restaurants that offer the dish have a twist on the name.

No matter what you call it, this plate was delicious! Even better was that the burgers and wings we had too were awesome. This is really a perfect place to wind down after work or hang out with friends.
Save $$$ On Your Next Trip To Ice House Revival
On top of the "585 Trash Plate", Ice House Revival has a long list of beers and drinks, and an even longer list of wing flavors. We had the Loganberry BBQ and Mango Habanero wings, and they were saucy and crispy just the way I love them.
Thier smash burgers are great and come with a variety of options.
They have daily specials, live music, darts, and more too!
