When your in a rush and you want an extra boost or just a delicious cool drink. Think of a healthy smoothie. I know you can buy them pre made in the grocery store, but they just never taste as good as when they are made fresh. There have been many days I have wished for a Jamba Juice in Buffalo.... One day maybe. This smoothie has Flax seeds. Use ground flax seeds instead of whole seasds. Here is a recipe for an energizing and delish smoothie.

Ingredients

1/2 cup of  plain nonfat yogurt

1/2 cup mandarin orange juice

1/2 banana

1/2 cup blueberries

2 tbs ground flax seeds

4 ice cubes

Directions

Blend all the ingredients together for about 30 seconds or untril the ice chunks are smooth.
