It looks like Mother Nature finally got the memo that is it June here in Western New York.

After a very below-average start to the week temperature-wise, Western New York is about to start to feel like the middle of Summer next week.

A major heatwave is coming our way and we will see the temperatures soar to well above average, we will be getting into the HOT ZONE.

According to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, most towns in Western New York will be in the mid-80s on Monday with a couple of towns like Jamestown, Buffalo, and Olean in the upper 80s.

Danville looks like it could make it into the low 90s.

The trend of the mid-80s will continue all week next week. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are all expected to have high temperatures around 85 degrees.
