The start to the month of May will be a very wet one here in Western New York.
We might all have to start singing the "Rain, Rain Go Away" song if we want to see some sunshine in the 716.
Wet Weather Expected In Western New York
After a weekend full of rain, it looks like that rain will continue today and into the work week. While it will be warm today, heavy rain showers are expected to move through the region starting this afternoon and will continue into the evening.
When Will The Rain Stop In Western New York?
The long-range forecast from the National Weather Service in Buffalo calls for rain showers across Western New York and most of New York State for most of this week.

Thursday looks like the first day this week we won't have rain in the forecast. A large cut-off low-pressure weather system is spinning over the eastern half of the U.S, which is causing the rain showers to stay over our area.
So you will want to make sure you have your umbrella and the kids have their rain gear for the next several days.
