KED Telethon: Behind The Scenes

Western New Yorkers did it again last night and pledged a generous amount of money for a good cause.

Buffalo and Western New York showed their support and pledged more than $720,000 for the Kids Escaping Drugs Campaign.

2 On Your Side hosted the Kids Escaping Drugs Telethon along with JOYfm's Joe Chille at the Renaissance House in West Seneca. The campaign helps parents understand drug problems in the area, and the reasons behind teen drug and alcohol abuse. KED also provides treatment facilities and programs for kids or teens who need help. Even though there wasn't much of a break from the co-hosting duties, I managed to snap a few shots of the occasion on my Blackberry.
