Many of us have been waiting for what seems like an eternity for an appointment to get the COVID-19 vaccine. We have the dispensing locations saved on our computer or phone, visiting them numerous times a day only to get the message "there are no appointments available within 50 miles of your location".

We all know there are drawbacks of working from home, including interruptions from family members and balancing work life and your home life... But here are what I see as some benefits of working from home . . . 1.  No commute, or charge for parking. ...

One of the worst things about this pandemic for me is not being able to see family members. I have have been 'social distancing' for two weeks. In an Italian, close-knit family like mine that is really tough.

Mina Starsiak Hawk co-founded the home renovation company, "Two Chicks And A Hammer" with her mother in the late 2000's. Now the ladies are the star of the hit HGTV show "Good Bones", and was also instrumental in the renovation of the Brady Family House.

Yesterday (Wednesday, August 29), during Joe Chille's last morning show on Joy FM, a whole bunch of special guests stopped by: Joe's family, friends and past and present co-workers...and even a news camera!

After 34 years on the air here at 96.1 Joy FM, Joe Chille said goodbye, both to all of our listeners on the air and to our staff with a message on our studio whiteboard.

Don't get me wrong -- I'm super-bummed Joe Chille's last day at Joy is today (Wednesday, August 29). But I had a lot of fun yesterday looking through old photos of his time at the station for this goodbye video!

After 34 years on the air, Joe Chille is leaving Joy FM! We at the station are going to miss him a ton, and we're sure all our amazing listeners are, too. So, we wanted to give you guys a chance to say goodbye and good luck!

Let's just for the sake of fun compare my Saturday afternoon in WNY, with my daughter Justine's Saturday afternoon in Southern Florida.

If you haven't heard by now, today is "Take Your Dog to Work Day."  Joe, Keith and I all have pups at home, but none of us brought them to the studio today.  We did bring photos though!

Father's Day this year has both my kid's out of town, Justine in Florida and Joe in Atlantic City.
