Favorite Left Over Foods In Western New York
This week many fridges in Western New York are stuffed with leftover ham, Polish sausage, hard-boiled eggs, and more.
While these foods make for a great Easter Brunch and Dyngus Day dinner, they are not the greatest for leftovers.

Sure a ham sandwich the day after Easter makes for a good meal, but ham is not a top leftover food.
Plus living in Western New York there are so many amazing restaurants across the area that many times when you dine out you order more than you need so you can have leftovers the next day.
For a foodie like me, there is nothing better than eating an amazing dinner, taking home the leftovers, and as you start to fall asleep, dreaming about having that amazing food for breakfast the next day.

Leftovers are an important part of the culinary culture here in Western New York. Waking up with a cup of coffee and a half dozen cold wings dunked in blue cheese is a true Buffalo breakfast.

So what is the must-have leftover here in Western New York? We asked on social media and got tons of answers but there were certain foods that got mentioned over and over again.
There are a couple of things each of these foods has in common:
- They are delicious both hot and cold.
- They are easy to reheat if you want to warm them up for breakfast.
- They are easy to pack up and take to work for a leftover lunch,
- They are served in such large portions that you are almost always guaranteed to have some leftovers for breakfast or lunch the next day.
