12 Favorite Weird Food Combos In Western New York
The largest two-day food festival in the entire country was here in Western New York this past weekend and along with so many delicious dishes, there were some odd food combos.

It reminded me of my Grandma Flo. She would always put salt on her watermelon and claimed that it made the watermelon taste even sweeter. I tried it several times but I never tasted a sweeter watermelon.
Western New York is full of colorful and wonderful people and many, just like my Grandma, love some very weird food combos.
Here are 12 that will leave you scratching your head asking how and why you put these two foods together in the first place. These people swear that these food combos are a perfect match and go together like peanut butter and jelly.
Peanut Butter and Bacon - I have never tried it, but I can see this working.
Tunafish and Pineapple - Umm....no thanks. Not sure how this would taste.
Ketchup and Green Beans - Are the beans cooked? What does the ketchup bring to the dish? So many questions.
Tomato soup and Peas - I can see how this might work. I get it.
Chocolate Ice cream and Gold Fish Crackers - Why??? It seems like the crackers would ruin the ice cream.
French Fries in Horseradish - I get ketchup or gravy on fries, horseradish? That seems way too spicy.
Sugar on Tomatoes - I get why you want to add some sweetness to Tomatoes
Peanut Butter and Bacon (again) - There must be something to this.
Pickles and Ketchup - It seems like you are missing a hamburger and bun for this.
Ketchup on Mac and Cheese - You know ketchup doesn't have to go on EVERYTHING.
Salt on Watermelon - lots of Western New Yorks love this combo.
Fries dipped in a milkshake - The only way to eat at Wendy's
