$500,000 Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In New York

Someone in New York woke up this morning very Happy.

The New York State Lottery announced that there was one “Big Money” winning Lottery ticket sold in New York from last night’s Powerball drawing.

That ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball, plus it had the Powerplay which was 10 times the prize amount. That ticket won $500,000 dollars.

The odds of winning the 3rd place Powerball prize are 1 in 913,129.

Monday's winning Powerball numbers were: 6-18-33-48-53 with a Powerball of 21

There was no grand prize winner from last night's Powerball drawing so the jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball is up to $75 million dollars.
