$50,000 Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In New York State

The lottery luck has continues across New York State. A 5th "Big Money" winning ticket was sold last night in New York State according to the New York State Lottery.

Powerball Winners In New York State

The New York State Lottery announced that one 3rd-place winning Powerball ticket was sold in New York State from Wednesday's drawing. That ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. That ticket won $50,000.

There were 20 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York from last night's drawing as well. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 18 of those tickets won $100 each, while the other two tickets had the Powerplay and won $200 each.

In addition to those winners, 41 5th-place winning tickets were sold in New York State. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 36 of those tickets won $100, while the other 5 had the Powerplay and won $200 each.

Here were the winning numbers from last night's Powerball drawing: 24-29-32-49-63 with a Powerball number of 11.

Did Anyone Win Last Night's Powerball Grand Prize?

There was no grand prize winner from last night's drawing. There was one 2nd place winning ticket sold in Michigan that won $1 million dollars, but no one claimed the grand prize jackpot.

Since there was no grand prize winner from last night's drawing, the jackpot for Saturday's drawing is now up to $118 million dollars. Tickets are $2 each for a regular ticket or $3 for a ticket with the Powerplay.
