Two $150,000 Winning Powerball Tickets Sold In New York State

Monday's Powerball drawing was a lucky one for a couple of lottery players in New York State. The New York State Lottery announced that there were two "Big Money" winning tickets sold in the state from last night's drawing.

Powerball Winners In New York State

There was no grand prize winner in New York State from last night's Powerball drawing, but that doesn't mean there weren't some "Big Money" winners. The New York State Lottery announced that two 3rd-place winning tickets were sold in the state from Monday's drawing.

Those two 3rd-place winning tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number to win. Both of those tickets had the PowerPlay, which tripled the 3rd-place prize from $50,000 to $150,000 each.

15 other tickets sold in New York State also won at least $500 each from Monday's drawing.

Here were the winning numbers from last night's Powerball drawing: 6-37-54-55-64 with a Powerball number of 10.

Did Anyone Win Last Night's Powerball Jackpot?

There was no grand prize winner from last night's Powerball drawing. That means that the jackpot from the next drawing on Wednesday Night is now up to $975 million dollars.

There hasn't been a grand prize winner from the Powerball since May 2nd.

Powerball Jackpot Hits New York State Record

If someone from New York were to win Wednesday's Powerball drawing, they would shatter the current record for the largest lottery jackpot ever won in New York State. The current record is $476 million dollars and was won in 2023 by Johnnie Taylor.
