Two $100,000 Winning Powerball Tickets Sold In New York

The first Powerball drawing of September was a very lucky one for lottery players in New York State. The New York State Lottery announced that there were two $100,000 winning tickets sold in the state from Wednesday's drawing.

There were some very lucky lottery players in New York State from last night's Powerball drawing. The New York State Lottery announced that there were two "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York from Wednesday's drawing.

Two 3rd-place winning tickets were sold in New York from last night's Powerball drawing. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. Both tickets also had the PowerPlay, which doubled the winning prize amount to $100,000 each.

Did Anyone Win Last Night's Powerball Jackpot?

There was no grand prize jackpot winner from last night's Powerball drawing. That means the jackpot will roll over for the next drawing on Saturday Night. At the time of this writing, the jackpot for the Powerball drawing on Saturday was up to $173 million dollars.

The Powerball is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights around 10:59 pm. Tickets are $2 each or $3 for a ticket with the PowerPlay. The Powerplay multiplies the winning amount of the ticket between 2x and 5x. A possible 10x multiplier is added when the jackpot is less than $150 million dollars.
