Winter Weather Advisories Issued For Parts Of New York

Winter is back in New York State and so is the snow. Much of the state is well below average when it comes to snowfall, but snow is on the way today and tomorrow for parts of New York State.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued Winter Weather Advisories for parts of New York today and tomorrow.

Gusty winds along with falling snow could lead to potential white-out conditions making travel difficult.

Several more inches of snow are also expected to fall today and tomorrow in parts of Central New York. Anywhere between a dusting to 4 inches is possible.

This weather front is the first of two snowstorms that is expected to move across New York before the end of the month. Another system is set to move across the area starting next Friday.
