Heavy Rain Showers Possible Across Western New York

You might want to bring an umbrella with you today as some nasty weather is on the way to Western New York.

We already had rain showers and thunderstorms early this morning and we will get a bit of a break during the day before another round of thunderstorms move into the area this afternoon.

Along with rain and thunderstorms, there is a chance of hail and damaging winds. Most of Western New York is under a marginal risk for severe weather this afternoon.

The good news is that the weather will clear as we head into the weekend. Tomorrow we will start with some rain before sunshine takes over for the afternoon.

We will have mostly sunny skies for the weekend with temperatures jumping nearly 15 degrees by Monday. We could hit the 90-degree mark on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
