Who’s Not Mad At Aretha Franklin?

I knew it would only be a matter of seconds before the bad dirt started rising around Cissy Houston and Aretha Franklin. Aretha is the God mother of Whitney Houston. I have an issue with what happened at the funeral. Deon Warwick introduced Aretha in the funeral and someone informed her that she would not be in attendance. Later that night Aretha did a show in NYC and announced she had leg spasms and was not up to perform. I am well aware that greif strikes everyone differently. But ..............Aretha, leg spasms.. I would have sang in a wheelchair to honor my God Child and if I broke down in the middle of the song so be it.

So is there a rift between the two moms. No. Aretha denies that she was uninvited because of statements she gave to the press.
