Top Baby Names and Trends Of 2011

There seems to be a lot of Aiden's out there! Sophia's too! Those names topped the list of most popular baby names for 2011. There also some interesting trends popping up, like babies named Anderson and Cooper!

Babycenter is out with its list of  most popular names this year.  Aiden holds the number one spot for boys for the seventh year in a row.  Sophia once again holds the number one spot for girls.

A few new trendsalso popped up.  Babycenter notes an increase in the names "Anderson" and "Cooper."  Speculation of course, is parents naming their babies after CNN's Anderson Cooper who's new daytime talk show is apparently doing well in the ratings.

Other trends  include the names "Will" and "Kate" after the British royal couple of course, and "Nichole" has moved up the list a bit presumably after the Jersey Shore star.
