Tonawanda Man Attempts To Rob Florida Store Dressed As Darth Vader; Foiled By Bleu Cheese

Jacob Mercer, 32, of Tonawanda tried to rob a convenience store in Jacksonville, Florida....dressed as Darth Vader.

While he sported the helmet and full body costume, he did not have a light saber, but rather, a gun.

He demanded cash, but the clerk clearly had no love for the Galactic Empire.

The jedi-cashier hurled a jar of blue cheese dressing at Vader, smacking him right in the face. Er, mask.

(One site claims it was bleu cheese, another site says it was a wine bottle. Either way, not a light saber.)

Whatever it was, it cut up his face, even under the Vader mask.

Cops tracked him down, and arrested him for armed robbery.
