It is never easy to lose a family member especially when it is your mother.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the co-founder of the Goo Goo Dolls Robby Takac who posted on Social media that his mother passed away.
I know these next couple of days will be very tough for Robby and his family. I lost my mother unexpectedly back in 2014 and it shook me to my core. It is never easy to lose the person that brought you into the world. Knowing that you will never talk with them again, give them hug, or hear them laugh is a blow that many people can't fathom.

I would love to say it gets easier, that the pain goes away, and the empty space in your heart gets filled, but that is not true.
Since my mother's passing, there hasn't been a day that I have not thought of her. I still talk to her and visit her grave on Mother's Day and on her birthday.
According to the online posting, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 12th, 10:15 am at Queen of Heaven Church.
