OneRepublic will be the first band to play the halftime show of a Bills game on Thursday, September 17th, but who will be the first to play a full concert at the new stadium?
It looks like it will not be Buffalo's own Goo Goo Dolls. Bills report Ryan Talbot noted on social media that the Goo Goo Dolls wanted to play the 1st halftime show. When OneRepublic was booked, the Goos were asking to play the halftime show of the Bills/Chiefs game on Thanksgiving. You can read his story HERE.
Country Music Star To Play At Highmark Stadium?
If I have to guess, I think it could be musical superstar Garth Brooks. He has been announcing new tour dates over the past several weeks, and there is a huge country music fan base in Western New York.
Brooks is known to announce two dates and then add more as those dates sell out. I could see Brooks playing three or four sold-out shows here at Highmark Stadium.
Who do you think will be the first concert at the new stadium? Let me know HERE or send me a message using our free APP.

The Bills are expected to announce who will play the first concert at Highmark Stadium on Tuesday, September 15th.
