It looks like the start of March could be a record-breaking across Western New York.
Another warm front is passing through the area and we could see temperatures in the 60s and 70s and that could set some new record highs here in Western New York.

The current daily record high for March 4th in Buffalo, New York is 63 degrees. That record was set back in 1974. The current record high for March 5th in Buffalo is 68 degrees, which was set in 2004. The way the current forecast is being reported, it looks like Monday's record will fall and it come close on Tuesday.

The trend of setting new record highs is nothing new this year in Western New York. In fact it has been one of the warmest winters on record in Buffalo and Rochester.
