
Massive Warm Front Brings Record Heat To New York
It has been very warm in New York after a massive warm front pushed through the state earlier this week.
Several record-high temperatures were tied or broken yesterday in New York State.
According to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, record highs were tied in Buffalo and Rochester on Wednesday and a new record temperature was set in Watertown.
The warmth will continue today with temperatures reaching record levels again across New York State. New high temperature records could be set in several cities today including Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, Binghamton, and Syracuse.
The warm weather won't last long. A cold front is set to move in tonight bring some rain showers across the state tonight starting late in the evening and then we could end up seeing a massive drop in our high temperatures heading into the weekend.

We could see a 20-30 degree drop in our high temperature across the state from today and into Friday. That cold weather will continue through the weekend with the temperatures falling back to around the average normal temperatures for this time of year.
