We will get a brief cold snap this weekend before the heat dome moves into the area bringing with it extreme heat and humidity. You can expect to be impacted by the heat dome for much of next week.

HOW HOT WILL IT GET IN NEW YORK STATE?
It all depends on where you live, but most of the state will see temperatures rise into the upper 80s and 90s. There is a chance some areas like down New York City could reach into the 100s at some point next week.
