Thousands of Powerball players, myself included, were hoping their numbers could be called out last night. Wednesday's Powerball jackpot was a New York State record-setting $515 million dollars, but there were no "Big Money" winners in New York.
Powerball Winners In New York State
There was a lot of disappointment with Powerball players in New York with Wednesday's drawing. There were no "Big Money" winners in New York. There were two 2nd place $1 million winning tickets sold in New Jersey and Virginia.
Here in New York, there were 29 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 24 of those tickets won $100, while the other 5 tickets had the Powerplay and won $200.
On top of those winners, there will also 73 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 63 of those tickets won $100, while the other 10 tickets had the Powerplay and won $200.

Here are the winning numbers from last night's Powerball drawing: 29-39-43-51-65 with a Powerball number of 23.
Did Anyone Win Wednesday's Powerball Drawing?
There was no grand prize winner from Wednesday's Powerball drawing. The jackpot for the next drawing on Friday Night is now up to $546 million dollars.

That would be the largest lottery jackpot ever in New York State history if someone in the state were to win it on Friday.
