$1 Million Powerball Winner In New York State

Saturday's Powerball drawing was VERY lucky for lottery players in New York State. The New York State Lottery announced there were 8 "Big Money" winning Powerball tickets sold in New York, including one ticket that won $1 million dollars.

There were 8 total "Big Money" winning Powerball tickets sold in New York State from Saturday's drawing.

According to the New York State Lottery, there was one 2nd-place winning ticket sold at Kings Food Market on 86th Street in the Bronx. That ticket matched all five numbers but missed the Powerball number to win $1 million dollars.

On top of that winning ticket, there were also seven 3rd-place winning tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 6 of those tickets won $50,000, while the other ticket had the Power Play and won $100,000.

Here were the winning numbers from last night's Powerball drawing: 18-30-41-45-68 with a Powerball number of 10.

The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing was $298 million dollars, so did anyone become an instant millionaire? The simple answer is no. There was no grand prize winner, which means the jackpot for the next Powerball drawing on Monday is now up to $313 million dollars.

The lump sum payout for Monday's grand prize would be around $133.6 million dollars.
