
New York State Underemployment Rate At 30 year Low
According to new statistics released by the New York State Department of Labor, the unemployment rate for the State is at a 30 year low.
The unemployment rate for New York State in September was 4.1%, which was the lowest since 1988.
The overall State rate dropped due to another decline in unemployment in New York City, where their rate of 4% is the lowest ever on record for the City.
