This New York Pizzeria Was The Named Best In America

New York is known for a lot of things and having good pizza is right near the top of the list.

19 pizzerias from New York State landed on the list of "Best Pizzerias In America" put out by the Italian website 50toppizza.it

The Italian website compared pizzerias from all over the United States and came up with a list of the Top 50 in the country.

Once again this year, a pizzeria in New York City took home the title of "Best Pizzeria In America". Una Pizza Napoletana took home the title for the 2nd straight year. They edged out “Tony’s Pizza Napoletana” in San Francisco and “Pizzeria Beddia” in Philadelphia. who finished in 2nd and 3rd place.

Here is a look at the Pizzeria that made it on the list from New York State. (10 were from New York City, while 2 were from Western New York.)

The Top 12 pizzerias on the list will automatically be in the contest to find the Top 100 pizzerias in the World. That list is set to be released in September.
