All The New Things At National Buffalo Wing Festival
The National Buffalo Wing Festival returns to Highmark Stadium this weekend and there will be plenty of new things for wing lovers to look forward to.
According to their press release, there will be several new things at this year's National Buffalo Wing Festival including the layout of the festival. While festival Goers will still have access to the field to hang out and take pictures, all the action like the chicken wing eating contest and the food vendors will be held on the main concourse inside the stadium.

There will also be plenty of new wing flavors to try this year at the festival. There will be 63 new flavors to try including Maple Bacon Jalapeno, French Toast, Cajun Rum Butter, Whiskey Apple Bourbon, Hot Dill Pickle, Hawaiian BBQ, Pineapple Rum, Garlic Alfredo, Smoked Bourbon, and Spicy Loganberry.

Also new this year will be the People's Choice Award. Festival goers will get to vote on their favorite wing at the festival through a QR code. Other voting will include great ongoing issues like ranch vs. blue cheese, drums vs flats, and dipping vs non-dipping.

Besides all the new things at this year's National Buffalo Wing Festival, many favorites will be back this year. That includes over 100 different styles of wings, live music, contests like blue cheese bobbing and chicken wing eating showdown, and more. The festival will also be giving back to local charities again. Since it first started the National Buffalo Wing Festival has given back over $470,000 to local charities. This year the festival will be giving back to FeedMore WNY and the Alzheimer’s Association of WNY.
The festival runs Saturday, August 31st from Noon to 9 PM and Sunday, September 1st from Noon to 7 PM.
