Multiple Weather Advisories Issued For New York
While the weather will improve to start of the week in New York, there are still multiple weather advisories in place across the state.
According to the National Weather Service, there are three different weather-related advisories in place as of this morning.
Feel Good Mornings With Dave Fields Mon-Fri 6am-10am
Starting in Western New York. There is a wind advisory in place for Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Livingston, Ontario, and Allegany counties. That advisory will remain in place until 2 pm this afternoon.
EXTRA: THESE WERE THE SNOWIEST DAYS IN NEW YORK HISTORY
That winter weather advisory will be in place until 11 am and the snow and ice from the storm could make for slippery road conditions for the ride into work and school.
In Northern New York there is a Winter Storm Warning in place for Oswego, Jefferson, and Lewis counties until 2 pm this afternoon. An additional 3 inches of snow is possible and with wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour, whiteout conditions are possible, so travel could be impacted today.
